PAYMENT POLICY

Mr. Lentz accepts payment via credit card through 3rd party payment processors Stripe or via Paypal through direct checkout on Paypal’s site. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.

SHIPPING POLICY

I work hard to get your order out to you faster than a galloping horse…well I guess that doesn’t sound so fast, but how about I typically ship within 3 – 6 days? It all depends on the day you order and the time of year. For current order lead times make sure to view the FAQ page here. If you are in a hurry, make sure to get in touch first to see when your order will ship by if you place the order today.

I ship everything via USPS mail. It is usually fast! Typical shipping times are 2-5 days within the U.S. once in the mail depending on how far the delivery horse needs to travel. International shipments will go via U.S. first class mail unless you upgrade. Once in a blue moon the USPS has unexpected delays in their delivery… as such the shipping time estimate as shown at checkout is just an estimate and I do not guarantee it. Please note that I can’t always predict the actions of governing customs officials. Though very rare – International shipments may incur a customs or duty fee. Mr. Lentz is not responsible for paying your country’s customs fee for delivery. Depending on the item, we may occasionally need to change the shipping price due to increased shipping costs imposed by USPS. Please note that I can no longer offer refunds on Express Mail packages that miss the USPS declared ‘guaranteed delivery date’ unless the package has been determined to be lost (not marked as delivered). While they do offer to refund the label price if they miss the guaranteed date, it has become impossible for me to collect from them.

RETURN POLICY

You got 30 days partner. See below for full policy details on each type of item and how the return process works. But first you should know that almost every item I make comes with a 100 Year Guarantee as marked below. What’s that you say? Well, every item is built with the finest Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned Leather, Solid Brass Rivets, and other stainless steel hardware, plus most purchases come with a tin of my own handmade leather conditioner (buy nice or buy twice…right?) As such I give a 100 Year Guarantee against material defects or defects in craftsmanship, full details of how it is covered on this page. Now, if you just want a simple return please see the details below for what I can do for you:

DETAILS:

All items in the shop are handmade per order as they come in, with a lot of care and detail. No item in the shop is ever resold and we don’t keep inventory of any one item. This means we need to have a tighter return policy than those larger box stores. If you are unhappy with your purchase, you must contact me within 30 days of receiving your item. If it falls within the return policies detailed below then a return for store credit will be offered. Occasionally I upgrade the designs of our leather goods items to perform even better, this may include thicker leather, extra rivets in specific areas or other considerations. These upgrades are done to improve the function of the item and they may not be shown in the product photo. Unfortunately we cannot offer returns or exchanges on items due to the design upgrade not having been apparent in the product photo. If you have any questions about a specific product before purchase – I am happy to answer questions via our contact page.

WALLETS and SMALL ACCESSORIES:

All Wallets and Small Accessories come with a 30 day return for store credit policy (minus actual shipping costs). Store credit will be issued via an emailed coupon, usable in the shop on any item(s) until the amount is exhausted. Personalized wallets and accessories are non-returnable as well as any item that has been customized in any way, however I will gladly make you a new one if your’s is defective. Get in touch with me within the first 30 days of delivery of your wallet or small accessory and I will email specific instructions for how to return the item. The return package must be postmarked by the 30th business day after you received your item, and the item must be in brand new unused condition and include all original packaging and conditioner. Store credit will be issued within 10 days of receiving your item back in the shop. Customers wishing to return multiple items from the same order or from several different orders are subject to a restocking fee of 25%.

BAGS, PURSES, CASES:

Bags and purses, cases, toiletry kits and similar items cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item is found to have a material defect, in which case, Mr. Lentz will repair or remake the bag for you at no additional repair cost. No refunds will be provided on these purchases. Before you order one, make sure you ask Mr. Lentz any questions you may have and be sure to view the product videos too. Please email Mr. Lentz a photo of the defect within 5 days of receipt of the item.

HOLSTERS:

We take great care to photograph, video and describe the holsters in great detail so that you can make a good purchase decision. We also are available pretty much every single day to answer any emailed questions you might have about these holsters prior to purchase, so please get in touch here if you have specific questions. In addition it is worth noting that our line of holsters can literally take days of work to create and require a high level of skill and precision to complete. These are not your average slapped together pieces of leather, they are top tier and are designed to be more durable than any other holster you’ve seen. Once you place your order, Mr. Lentz personally dedicates shop time and experience to your specific holster, bringing it through over 50 steps to completion. You are making a purchase commitment and Mr. Lentz is committing time, knowledge and materials. We get that there may be that one odd chance that it just might not entirely work out for you, so we have designed the following policy as a fair compromise: For both personalized and non-personalized holsters we offer an unconditional refund to your payment method minus a 50% restocking fee and minus any optional rush order fees, no questions asked. You are allowed to use and break the holster in, but your return request and postmarked label must be made within 30 days of receipt of the item. BELTS, COLLARS, LEASHES, CUSTOM SIZED:

Belt size must be measured according to the chart instructions provided on the listing page. Unfortunately Mr. Lentz does not accept returns or exchanges on belts due to fit. Each and every one is made by hand specifically for your order and Mr. Lentz does not keep inventory of belts or resell them. If you do have a belt with a material defect please get in touch with Mr. Lentz immediately and he can help resolve the situation by providing a repair or an exchange for the same belt in the same size and color only.

CUSTOM ORDERS

For all custom orders and custom sized items including dog collars and leashes: these items cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item is found to have a material defect, in which case, Mr. Lentz will fix or remake the custom sized item for you at no additional repair cost. No refunds will be provided on custom sized purchases. Before you order one, make sure you ask Mr. Lentz any questions you may have. Please email Mr. Lentz a photo of the defect within 5 days of receipt of the item.

EXCHANGES

All items purchased on store credit do not qualify for future returns or exchanges and are considered final sale. Customers with a history of returning items or orders may not be eligible for future returns.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN/EXCHANGE

All requests must be made within 30 days of receipt of your item (or before Jan. 31st if purchased during the November – December holiday season). If your order qualifies under the policy details above, please use the contact form on the contact page of our site to email your request, reason, and whether you would like the item repaired, remade, or returned for credit. Return shipping is paid by the customer. We typically can respond within 1 – 2 business days with details on where to ship your return package. Store credit for the item minus shipping costs are typically issued within 10 business days of receipt of your return package. Repairs are made within the same time period and reshipped back to you.

STORE CREDIT

Store credit is issued via an emailed coupon code sent directly to the email associated with the original purchase. Store credit expires 12 months after the date of issue.
