RETURN POLICY
30 DAYS for Qualifying Items:
Requests must be made within 30 Days from delivery for qualifying items. (Or through Jan. 31st for orders placed during the holiday period of Nov. 15 – Dec. 31st)
Item must be received back in the shop within 15 days of request. See details below for specifics on each type of product. This return policy applies only to items purchased directly through our website, all other marketplaces will have specific policies of their own.
Each item is handmade in my small U.S. workshop using the finest materials around. This includes U.S. full grain leather, solid brass and stainless steel hardware. Every purchase is covered with my 100 Year Guarantee. Now, if you just want a simple return first read the policy below to determine if you qualify. Then submit your request here.
What is a Used item? For the purposes of our return policy below a used item is any item that shows any signs of use or handling. Including bending, handling, scratches, sun tans, rub marks, credit card marks, stretching, smells of any kind, stains etc. The leather can be easily marked, so please keep that in mind.

Used: You may use the item during the 30 day period. Return for store credit minus shipping costs and 10%.

These belts are custom cut and made to your specifications after you place the order. Returned belts do not get resold and are cut up for scrap material.

CUSTOM ORDERS:
Custom orders outside of the standard offerings on the website are non-returnable. This includes any item where a special request has been made to tweak the item or its hardware.
MULTIPLE ITEM RETURNS:
Customers wishing to return multiple items from the same order or from several different orders are subject to an additional restocking fee of 25%.
EXCHANGES:
Exchanges are treated the same as returns noted above. All items purchased on store credit do not qualify for future returns or exchanges and are considered final sale. Customers with a history of returning items or orders will not be eligible for future returns.
HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN/EXCHANGE:

All requests must be made within 30 days of receipt of your item (or before Jan. 31st if purchased during the November – December holiday season).
Return shipping is paid by the customer, make sure to ship via a tracked and insured method as we do not accept liability for lost packages. Please allow 10 days after the item returned is received on our end to process your return.
STORE CREDIT:
Store credit is issued via an emailed coupon code sent directly to the email associated with the original purchase. Store credit expires 12 months after the date of issue.
PAYMENT POLICY
Mr. Lentz accepts payment via credit card through 3rd party payment processors Stripe or via Paypal through direct checkout on Paypal’s site. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.
DISCOUNT/SALE POLICY
At certain points throughout the year an item, category or most of the shop will be discounted. If you made a purchase within 1 – 3 days before the sale and would like to be offered the sale pricing, please get in touch through the contact page. If your purchase was 4 – 7 days before the sale date you may request a store credit for the difference in price. Beyond 7 days we are not able to offer reduced pricing. You must request the sale price while the sale is active and no later than 9 days after your purchase date.
SHIPPING POLICY
I work hard to get your order out to you faster than a galloping horse…well I guess that doesn’t sound so fast, but how about I typically ship within 3 – 6 days? It all depends on the day you order and the time of year. For current order lead times make sure to view the FAQ page here. If you are in a hurry, make sure to get in touch first to see when your order will ship by if you place the order today.
I ship everything via USPS mail. It is usually fast! Typical shipping times are 2-5 days within the U.S. once in the mail, depending on how far the delivery horse needs to travel. International shipments will go via U.S. first class mail unless you upgrade. Once in a blue moon the USPS has unexpected delays in their delivery… as such the shipping time estimate as shown at checkout is just an estimate and I do not guarantee it. Depending on the item, we may occasionally need to change the shipping price due to increased shipping costs imposed by USPS. Please note that I can no longer offer refunds on Express Mail packages that miss the USPS declared ‘guaranteed delivery date’ unless the package has been determined to be lost (not marked as delivered). While they do offer to refund the label price if they miss the guaranteed date, it has become impossible for me to collect from them.
International Shipments
Please note that I can’t always predict the actions of governing customs officials. Most international shipments will incur a customs or duty fee when you pick up your package from the post office. Countries located within the European Union as well as the U.K. are now subject to local import taxes and VAT (Read more on the EU VAT here, and more on the UK VAT here). Please be aware that you will be responisble for paying these taxes upon picking up your item in your country. Mr. Lentz is not responsible for paying your country’s customs fee for delivery. If a package is returned to us due to non-payment of the import duties and taxes, we will hold the package on our end and require a re-payment of the shipping costs before re-shipping the item. We are unable to offer returns or credit for items returned to us due to non-payment of import duties.
COUPONS AND SALES
Occasionally items in the shop will go on sale. Sales may change at any time especially around holiday periods. Since we are a very small workshop we can offer the following if your purchase was made within 7 days before a better sale pricing was offered, we will gladly adjust for the difference in price divided by 2 and refunded back in the form of a store credit coupon good for use on a future purchase. If your purchase was made more than 7 days prior, we are unable to offer a price break. For coupon usage, in general we do not offer coupons that can be used in addition to other coupons. Coupon codes will usually not work on items already listed at sale prices. Some items in the shop may not be included in sale pricing or coupon codes due to the immense amount of time it takes to make them.

Each item in the Mr. Lentz Shop is priced as marked. Occasionally an item will go on sale, or other promotions may occur. These occur very rarely though…reserved for special occasions. All items featured in Mr. Lentz’s shop are made to order, some however are one of a kind due to their complexity.
